At the end of the first project I highlighted a few things I thought I would like to tackle for this project. Creating a generative drawing project which can be viewed in three dimentions either as a graphic image or a physical object.
Blowing the lines to draw the images will still be my main focaus, but I would also explore if i could include a second piece of data into the drawing. This could be lung capaticy of the user or there bmi data, or using image analyst using an ordinary webcam. Creating a system which will allow for the recursive lines to be developed from both simple act of blowing but also a part of the human body. Then a direct change within the system will take place.
The final work could have different iterations. One could be one drawing per person. Or it could be built up by a group of people, say gallery visitors throughout a day. each day the work could restart. Then the outcome could be to create either drawing in real-time and in the space. Building it up throughout the day. Or it could be printed on a 3d printer at the end of the day. Either way these objects/artifacts would be collected and displayed in group format. Each drawing would then form a larger cluster of drawing artifacts, creating a larger image/sculpture all on there own.
Main issues to highlight
Breathing and blowing air from the human lungs.
Make a project which is more inclusive of the user (not me, the maker).
Moving out of the 2d into a more sculptural form
Transfering the image making off the computer and in the physical world.
