The history of drawing stystems has inerest me from some time. Artists such as David Medalla worked on exploring issues through the early kinetic sculptures. Here are a couple of his works interest me.

These interest me, as a way of exploring the change of mark making from the human to the computer. My aim within processing to create a program that can form another iteration of the drawing development. The next system could be using my own built robot which would be able to incorporate two of the elements, both the computer programme and tool to deliver the ink, making its own drawing on paper, rather than in virtual space.
