Setup by Raversbourn University students, I attended a two day collaborative workshop in the V22 space. I had no clear plans at what I was going to do and took with me a few tools and some dry spaghetti.
I was hoping to explore the Fractal branches and seeing if i could create them using some real world objects. Using a glue gun and the dry pasta i set out a rule of create a structure of one main branch, with three branches coming off that and then another three sub-branches.
I only managed to get one full branch made as this was a time consuming endeavour and the results where not so pleasing. Although as this is the first time i’ve tried to create these shapes with physical materials, i did started to get a feel for the complexity of the structures i’ve made in processing.
